My name is Daniela Britti and I am a medical Herbalist, Naturopath, and a Massage Therapist specialised in Holistic and Sports massage. I joined the Association of Master Herbalists once I qualified as Herbalist and Naturopath at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London.
I always had a passion for plants and natural healing and I have always believed in the inner ability of the human body to handle imbalances and illnesses. I always understood the importance of maintaining the body in a state of wellness looking at what we eat, our lifestyle habits, what we like and dislike, what makes us happy and what doesn’t.
I have embraced the concept that in an ideal world, where our real physical and emotional needs are constantly met, we should never get ill and when that occasionally happens, nature in all her forms is there available to us as medicine.
I also praise modern medicine for the many advancements in diagnostics and treatment of acute and traumatic conditions as not being in an ideal world yet, as humans we are subject to accidents, injuries, pollution, physical and emotional traumatic events. For this reason I rather prefer the idea of the two medicine systems, naturopathic and conventional, to be complementary to each others. The first one being preventative and perfectly able to assist us in maintaining a state of wellness and possibly support the treatments of any conditions. The second should be there for us to use in acute and extreme conditions where modern medicine amply demonstrated to be life saving.
I have started my journey in a lovely Herbal Shop in Rome (Italy) where, as shop assistant, I have been trained in advising on and selling many powerful herbal remedies and herbal cosmetics. I have so much enjoyed all the wisdom and knowledge behind natural medicine that I have decided to qualify as Herbalist and Naturopath when I moved to England.
After years of practice since my qualifications I still enjoy every day and every moment I have the possibilities to advice about and treat patients with what Mother Nature can offer us as medicine.
I carry out all my therapies from the comfort and relax of my treatment room in Telscombe Cliffs, Peacehaven. For more information and to book an appointment with me is easy, just call, text or send me an email.
